A family friend
recommended Terry Retzloff with TR
Measurement Witnessing LLC. At
the time, we had little knowledge
about the oil and gas production
world. My father, who had taken
care of all the business dealings
in this area, had recently passed
away. I was overwhelmed with
what to do. Two companies were
wanting to lease some of the land
while another, which had the majority
of the family land leased, wanted
to drill two new wells.
We set up a meeting with Terry, and
to our pleasure, we met a very professional,
organized individual. Terry
had already done some research on the
wells and companies in the area.
Terry
explained to us the importance
of accurate measurement and
how critical it is for generating
proper royalty payments.
Terry has witnessed the meter
tests conducted on our wells
since April 2007. He
has identified multiple
issues including worn orifice
plates and recording devices
being found out of calibration
which were costing us money. I think that his watchful
eye is keeping the fox away from the
henhouse.
Terry recently helped us with a new
oil and gas lease. He reviewed
the lease and gave our attorney the
suggested language for the accurate
accounting of the product being metered
and sold. Meter witnessing, gas
volume statements and gas samples were
a few of the items addressed. Our
attorney has learned from his exchange
with Terry. This company has
drilled and completed a well. Thanks
to Terry
the proper lease language was inserted
into the original oil and gas lease,
and within 40 days of the
well going to sales we started
receiving from the Oil Company the necessary
data that allows him to audit
our royalty payments with accuracy. Terry
has already identifed issues relative
to gas pricing that are in the process
of being addressed with the Oil company. We
are confident we will ultimately
get compensated our fair share for
royalties on this lease!
Whenever we have a problem or don’t
understand something, Terry is just
a phone call away. He responds
promptly. We have learned a tremendous
amount from Terry. This has relieved
a lot of stress. We now
understand what is going on. What
a relief it is to have a competent
individual watching over what God has
given us!
